High Quality as a principle

I’m Franz, sommelier and head chef and I love everything that tastes good! The first time I cooked was at age 12. When I was 16 I shot my first roebuck and my mother let me help her prepare it for our guests. Since then my passion for good food constantly grew. Over the last few years excellent wine  – particularly from Austria – has become more and more important to me. Vegetables, meat, fish, fresh herbs, good wine – our Fally is a member of the “Lower-Austrian-Inn-Culture”, a group of  hosts, who concentrate on keeping up especially high standards in traditional cooking. Traditional dishes with a mundane, modern twist – that’s what you can enjoy at the Fally. I do hope, you like it!

High Quality with a principle

At the Fally, we rely on products from the region and preferably bring to the table what’s in season. Of course we also offer dishes, that you can enjoy all year round, but we definitely do recommend to check out our seasonal menu: Fresh mushrooms – a nice piece of game – wild garlic, asparagus? Franz prepares them in a pure fashion, inspired by traditional recipies – but always with this certain “Fally-Extra“.  Discover a new world every three to four weeks!
